2022 Event information coming soon

After a Feb. 16 discussion between Dearborn Mayor John O’Reilly Jr. and the City Council, the Dearborn Homecoming festival was canceled for the second year in a row.

“The internal Homecoming committee will be pursuing an upbeat alternative to the festival,” Dearborn Public Information Director Mary Laundroche said.

The committee was directed to try to schedule a series of smaller concerts throughout the summer.

Laundroche said the summer concerts “should capture the essence of our traditional community celebration.”
